Eddie Bush Collection –   (limited run of 100)

All copies now sold

Thanks to all who supported this project and helped keep this wonderful music alive.

Eddie BushToday Eddie Bush is revered for the classic steel guitar showcases “Hard to get Gertie “ and “Clowin the frets”, and rightly so in our view. We include both sides in our cd. Those were however the only instrumental pieces recorded in Eddie’s years with Earl Burtnett. Most of the Trio sides focus on the sophisticated harmony vocals of Bush, Curly Seckler and Paul Gibbons on popular songs of the day. This retrospective also looks to his other recordings with for Brunswick and slightly later records made with his own Biltmore Trio and Mannie Klein’s Hawaiians.  We’ve selected twenty of the best examples of the Eddie’s output, all of which are complemented by his majestic steel playing.

100 copies  produced and in a 6 panel fold-out digipak …no detailed booklet (but some very nice photos!).
